SMC acted on behalf of the landlord of the property at 3-13 Knifesmithgate. The ground floor unit provides in excess of 2,000 sq ft of accommodation in the heart of Chesterfield. The unit adjoins the new retail and leisure development at Elder Way which includes Beefeater and Premier Inn.
The letting adds to a flurry of transactions in the area SMC have undertook on behalf of the same landlord. In 2016 SMC let the ground floor and basement space at 1-3 Knifesmithgate to Odyssey as a Greek Restaurant. In 2017 the upper floor parts of the building were sold on a long leasehold basis to a developer who converted the former lap dancing club into apartments.
