Sheffield City Centre Retail Unit Let to Utilita!
SMC Chartered Surveyors have completed the letting of Unit 2, St James Row in Sheffield city centre.
Acting on behalf of the landlord, Thornsett Properties Ltd, SMC negotiated a new 10 year lease to Utilita Energy Ltd. The tenant will now undertake a scheme of works following landlord works ,which included a new DDA lift platform.
Utilita are a UK energy supplier and one of the largest outside of the big six. Utilita currently have four energy hub stores, in Portsmouth, Southampton, Edinburgh and the Isle of Wight. The Sheffield store will be Utilita’s first in Yorkshire.
The premises had previously been occupied by recruitment firm, Office Angels. The basement level has been retained by the landlord with options now being considered for re-letting or landlord use.
