Village property sold to be a micro brewery

SMC has sold The Factory on Alma Road at Tideswell to a local entrepreneur. The buyer has plans to establish a micro brewery.

The property has seen many uses over the years. These include being the headquarters of outdoor gear manufacturer, Wild Country, for a time.

SMC sold the building for a local investor.  In the past SMC had let the property to an electronics company and before that to a document storage company.
